Tom's Halloween trick misfires-- big danger for the Littles!
Halloween is not a time to go trick or treating for tinypeople. Their closest neighbors live too far away in the houses of big people. Instead, Tom and Lucy think up a way to scare the family grown-ups on Halloween.
Last year Mr. and Mrs. Little, Granny Little and Uncle Pete pretended to be scared and the kids found that out. "This year, says Tom. "we're really going to scare them!" The children try to come up with a terrifically scary idea but can't. It was Halloween before Tom suddenly said, "I've got it!"Then, when the idea back-fires, the entire Little clan find themselves involved what appears to be the worst possible thing that could happen to tiny people!
